The author (that’s me) and Tom have been married for 34 years and are currently living in a small rural community outside of St. Louis.  We have four married children, six grandsons, two granddaughters, and two great-grandsons.  Tom and I returned from Northern Ireland in December of 2005, after a year of working for Habitat for Humanity.  Next to our amazing family, it was one of our greatest adventures!

God has totally blown me away with the amazing things he has done with this book. So many times I would be in tears feeling I had not listened to him because I didn’t know what I was doing. Then someone would “show up” in my life to take care of the things I knew nothing about. Honestly, I could write another book, and fill it with God stories, just concerning this book!

I have been blessed with opportunities to speak to many groups about what God has done in my life. What a joy that has been.

Currently, I am attending a Graduate School of Theology. Another God story, considering the fact that I went there nine credit hours short of an Associates Degree. Sporting an A.D.D. brain, I was certain it wouldn’t be long before someone would tap me on the shoulder and ask me how I got in there! I arrived there in the Fall of 2006, knowing everything. After almost two years of study, I have come to realize that I don’t know anything! What a great place to be!

What Next?
I don’t know what God has in mind beyond all of this. But I do know that I can say with confidence, “Bring it on, Lord! Whatever you have in mind…

Because I KNOW, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” And the glory be to God!
